Whole grain silos – benefits over its entire length

With whole grain silos, corn grains are stored and conserved unbroken in a harvest-moist state. The stored grain corn consumes the residual oxygen in the air between the stored grains and thereby naturally produces carbonic acid, nitrogen and other gases. These displace the atmospheric oxygen and thereby act as preservatives.
